My radio FRO experience began just after the opening ceremony.
A week later I went on air for the first time. On the schedule
hour of 20.00 to 22.00.
The first one hour was a kind of getting back to an old job left
behind. Seven years before. It wasn`t really sceary but I was
contemplation on manovering the program in two languages.
Deutsch & English.
At the innitiale stage it functions but later I realise I was a bit
going a stray due to my bad accent in deutsch language and inability
to speak fluently.
But finally I reach a self conclusion by transmitting in English and
revealing some words or sentences in deutsch, e.g. studio time, studio
phone number, transmission number 89,8 mHz.
Being part of radio FRO has being something special and as an old time
trained journalist and former scholl discjockey, it enable me to stick
to my old time professions.
I really enjoy every minute of it cause there are occasions when my
friend call in and say YO!
We`ve just been listening to your programme. Sometimes teenagers call
in and spoke in deutsch e.g. Hallo, deine Sendung ist super!
And I`ll reply by saying: Danke Schöön!
